After building her career as a keyboardist/pianist in Japan, Mikiko's piano solo album "Elegy In Violet"(2019) and "Kimagure Minuet" (2022) were released in the U.S. from a classical label Centaur Records .
Some tunes from these albums were featured on notable playlists and digital radio programs.
Mikiko is a full member of The Society Of Composers and Lyricists and ,The Japan Federation of Composers Inc., an associate member of ISCM.
In Japan, Mikiko recorded a new wave album "Gang Busters"(S-Ken) for King Records as a keyboardist. This label is known for its star artists such as Chiemi Eri, Kiyotaka Sugiyama, AKB48, and music for Play Station, Game Boy etc.
The producer of this album Haruomi Hosono is a member of Yellow Magic Orchestra, whose members include Ryuichi Sakamoto.
Mikiko's album credits (as her maiden name Mikiko Kodama) with well-known artists including Haruomi Hosono, Mute Beat(Hiroaki Hoshi & Kazufumi Kodama), and Kazutoki Umezu .
In addition, Mikiko was a concert producer to artists visiting Japan from the U.S., such as Rita Coolidge, The Lettermen and The Mamas & Papas , as well as to Japanese top artists including Eiko Shuri.
